To ensure compliance with data privacy requirements and maintain accurate user accountability, each Energy Efficiency Collaborative Platform (EECP) user must have an individual login tied to a unique, person-specific email address. Group, shared, or role-based email addresses (such as office@company.com) are not permitted for EECP access. Vendors must not share login credentials among staff or third-party service providers. Vendors must deactivate former employees’ accounts no later than 5 business days after the employee’s last working day. Each person accessing the platform must complete the required Customer Data Privacy Training and maintain their own authorized account. Austin Energy monitors this platform regularly for compliance and any account that is inactive for more than 6 months will automatically be disabled.
